About Us

The Marks Trio specialises in contemporary live music for your event, be it background music for a corporate function or a performance for a special occasion.

The members of the trio got to know each other during their studies at university. In 2018, Emile and George started playing at corporate functions for the University of Pretoria with Megan being included later on. By 2019 the trio was starting to take shape and was performing regularly, expanding their repertoire in the process. Up until the end of 2020, the trio was still unnamed and gaining most of its performance opportunities through word of mouth, with more people inquiring about the trio at every event. In 2021, The Marks Trio was finally made official after all the members had completed their bachelors in music degrees.
